These Terms and Conditions govern the offering and sale of services (as defined below) on the website www.florentiabus.it and on other web addresses redirecting to www.florentiabus.it, operated by Florentia Bus S.r.l., with registered office in Florence (FI), Via il Prato 71, 50123 Florence, Tax Code and VAT No. 05763690483, registered with the Florence Companies Register, REA Florence No. 573125.
Please read all the Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your order.
DEFINITIONS:
- Florentia Bus S.r.l.: the operator of the website www.florentiabus.it, hereinafter referred to as the Company or www.florentiabus.it.
- Website or Platform: the website at www.florentiabus.it and its software.
- Customer: a natural or legal person who makes purchases or reservations through www.florentiabus.it or other web addresses redirecting to www.florentiabus.it, or a natural person who uses the purchased services.
- User: a natural or legal person who visits and browses the website www.florentiabus.it.
- Service: tours, services or products offered for sale on www.florentiabus.it, hereinafter referred to as Services, Tours or Products.
- Information Sheet: the page on our website www.florentiabus.it containing all details and policies relating to the selected service.
- Supplier: the party that carries out and/or provides Florentia Bus with the service offered for sale on www.florentiabus.it.
ORDER: To confirm an order, simply follow the standard purchasing procedure. The order will be considered confirmed once payment has been made. By placing your order, you declare that you have read and fully understood all the details of the selected services.
Once the Order has been confirmed, Florentia Bus will send your Ticket by email. It will contain all the information about the meeting point and how to redeem your Ticket.
PAYMENT AND ORDER CONFIRMATION: Before submitting your Order, you are required to provide the information needed to process your payment using one of the available payment methods (for example, credit card details). Your order will be considered confirmed once the transaction has been completed and approved.
PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE: Adults and legal entities.
TICKET: Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive your Ticket. The Ticket may be presented on a smartphone if explicitly stated in the Service Information Sheet; otherwise, it must be printed and presented at the meeting point. In the latter case, non-paper Tickets may not be accepted, and the customer will therefore be unable to use the service and will not be entitled to any refund.
FRAUDULENT PURCHASES: If a purchase is deemed fraudulent, Florentia Bus reserves the right to cancel the relevant order.

INSURANCE POLICY: When operating as a Travel Agency/Tour Operator, Florentia Bus is covered by an insurance policy with Generali.
SERVICE INFORMATION AND PRICES: Prices are displayed in the service details, are expressed in euros and always include VAT. Details and information about the service are provided in the information sheet on www.florentiabus.it. Please make sure that all the information on the Website is correct before submitting an order.
SERVICE INFORMATION: Florentia Bus takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that the information provided in the Service Information Sheet is accurate; however, Florentia Bus assumes no responsibility for any omissions or errors in the descriptions available in the Information Sheet on www.florentiabus.it.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Florentia Bus is responsible exclusively for the sale of services supplied on behalf of its suppliers. In all other cases, Florentia Bus bears no responsibility for the Suppliers' services, which are provided exclusively by the relevant Supplier. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release Florentia Bus from liability for any costs, expenses, losses or liabilities that you may incur as a result of any breach of the terms of service by a Supplier other than Florentia Bus and/or any event in any way connected with the service provided by such Supplier.
By purchasing a Product, you accept and agree to its Terms of Service, including the Supplier's cancellation and no-show policies, as well as any additional conditions the Supplier may apply to your booking or during your visit.
CANCELLATIONS: Each service has its own cancellation policy, which can be consulted in the service information sheet. Cancellation requests can be sent to info@florentiabus.it, specifying:
- Booking number
- Travel date
- Passenger name
- Purchased service
BOOKING CHANGES: Certain booking changes, such as changing the date or fare, may be requested. All requests must be sent to info@florentiabus.it and will be accepted at the sole discretion of Florentia Bus and/or the Supplier. The request must include the following information:
- Booking number
- Travel date
- Passenger name
- Purchased service
- Type of change requested
COMPLAINTS AND REFUNDS: Complaints and refund requests must be sent to info@florentiabus.it no later than 10 days after the travel date. They will be accepted at the sole discretion of Florentia Bus and/or the Supplier. The request must include the following information:
- Booking number
- Travel date
- Passenger name
- Purchased service
- A description of the reason for the complaint/refund request, providing as much detail as possible
No refunds will be granted to anyone who fails to appear or arrives late at the meeting point (“no-show”).
CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES BY THE SUPPLIER DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE: The Supplier may change its service, even at short notice, due to force majeure (including, by way of example and without limitation, earthquakes, floods, strikes, road closures, traffic changes, pandemics, acts of God, etc.).
The Supplier has the right to cancel the service at any time, including at short notice, due to force majeure (including, by way of example and without limitation, earthquakes, floods, strikes, road closures, traffic changes, pandemics, acts of God, etc.). In the event of cancellation by the Supplier, Florentia Bus will contact the customer to inform them and offer a refund, a change of date or replacement with another service of the customer's choice. If the customer chooses a full refund, Florentia Bus will refund the amount paid, less any bank charges. If the service is replaced, any fare differences may need to be settled.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE SUPPLIER: The Supplier has the right to cancel the service at any time, including at short notice. In the event of cancellation by the Supplier, Florentia Bus will contact the customer to inform them of the cancellation and offer a refund, a change of date or replacement with another service of the customer's choice. If the customer chooses a full refund, Florentia Bus will refund the amount paid, less any bank charges. If the service is replaced, any fare differences may need to be settled.
LIABILITY: Florentia Bus shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, property damage or any other loss (direct or indirect), or for expenses arising from the actions of suppliers, transport companies, hotels or other providers who supply services directly or indirectly through Florentia Bus, unless such loss is due to Florentia Bus's negligence or breach of its obligations.
Florentia Bus shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations directly or indirectly resulting from any cause or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such circumstances include acts of God, outbreak of hostilities, riots, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, revolutions, acts of any government or authority (including but not limited to the refusal or revocation of any licence or authorization), fires, floods, epidemics, lightning, explosions, fog or bad weather, interruption or failure of utilities (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovation work undertaken by accommodation providers, strikes, lockouts, boycotts and blockades.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Florentia Bus excludes its own liability, as well as that of its agents, independent contractors, employees and representatives, and their agents, independent contractors, sub-agents and distributors, for damages relating to Users' access (or inability to access) the Website, or for any error or omission, or for results obtained from use of the Website, regardless of the legal basis of such liability, except for damages caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence to the extent provided by applicable law. These limitations of liability do not apply to warranties given, damage to life, physical integrity or health, or claims based on product liability.
NO WARRANTY: Florentia Bus endeavours to ensure the accuracy of information provided on or through the Website. Nevertheless, it makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability or fitness for any particular purpose of such information or any other matter (including information of any kind provided by third parties). Florentia Bus may at any time, at its sole discretion, modify, add or remove information on the Website or change its structure or features, without specific notice, without removing outdated information and without identifying information as outdated. Florentia Bus may also block Users' access to the Website or certain parts of it, or permit access only under certain conditions. Florentia Bus makes no express or implied warranty concerning the availability of the Website or its features, the absence of defects in the Website, or the absence of viruses or other harmful software from the Website and its supporting infrastructure. Furthermore, Florentia Bus does not guarantee that the information available on the Website has not been altered due to technical faults or by unauthorized third parties.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: As between customers/users browsing www.florentiabus.it and Florentia Bus, the Website is and shall remain protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property rights (including rights granted under unfair competition law). Users acquire no rights in the Website or in names, trade names, logos, trademarks and/or distinctive signs of any kind published on the Website. They may access and view the Website, but may not incorporate it into other websites or copy, display, license, publish, download, upload, transmit or otherwise make it accessible without our prior written authorization.
USER / CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS: The User/Customer must keep registration details (username and password) confidential and must not allow third parties to access their personal area using those details. The User/Customer is responsible for all use of their account. The User/Customer must indemnify Florentia Bus against any claim brought by third parties arising from their use of www.florentiabus.it, unless Florentia Bus is responsible.
The Customer must arrive at the Supplier's service on the day and at the time indicated in the service details and/or Ticket. No refund is due in the event of failure to appear or late arrival.
AVAILABILITY AND WARRANTY: No guarantee is given regarding availability, quality, service characteristics or technical support for use of the Website. Florentia Bus may redesign, restrict or suspend its online portal at any time at its sole discretion.
TIME ZONE: For the purpose of calculating times relating to deadlines or service schedules, the Supplier's time zone shall apply.
SUPPLIER'S LIABILITY: The Supplier is responsible for its services in accordance with applicable law.
GIFT VOUCHER: Purchasing a gift voucher means purchasing a voucher of a specified value that must be spent on our website www.florentiabus.it under the conditions set out in the information sheet. The code on the gift voucher may be used to deduct its value from a future order. The gift voucher cannot be presented at the meeting point of a service to use that service.
PRIVACY: Florentia Bus processes customers' personal data in accordance with applicable laws. For further details, please refer to the dedicated “Privacy Notice” section.
AMENDMENTS: These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time following the introduction of new laws or regulations or for other reasons. The new General Terms and Conditions take effect from the date of publication on www.florentiabus.it. We recommend regularly visiting this section of the Website to check whether more recent, updated General Terms and Conditions have been published.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION: These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute between the parties concerning the validity, interpretation and performance of this agreement, with the sole exception of disputes relating to non-payment of amounts owed by the concessionaire, shall be referred to an arbitration panel consisting of three arbitrators appointed pursuant to Article 810 of the Italian Code of Civil Procedure. The panel shall decide according to law and in compliance with procedural rules. The seat of arbitration shall be Florence. The award may also be challenged for errors of law relating to the merits of the dispute.
Disputes between the parties that do not fall within the jurisdiction of the arbitration panel described above shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Florence.
MISCELLANEOUS: These Terms and Conditions are effective only in their Italian version. All other translations are provided solely to facilitate understanding by the Customer and User. In the event of a dispute, the Italian-language version shall prevail.
