FLORENTIA BUS was created in 1996 as an appendix of two companies, F.lli Maddii and STAM. In only 4 years time (2000) FLORENTIA BUS became a stock company, eventually incorporating all of the activities of the two mother companies (F.lli Maddii and Stam).Despite its young origins, FLORENTIA BUS has solid historical foundations. STAM company was founded in 1988 from a group of Italian artisans with a long history in the field of tourist transportation; F.lli Maddii’s history stretches over 3 generations of transportation business since its inception in 1928 when Mr. Florindo Maddii introduced the first “minibus”.
Today FLORENTIA BUS provides his clients with highly professional and all-round services, covering the domestic and the international major tourist routes. On those same routes FLORENTIA BUS provides also bus rental services, therefore granting a thorough and valid support to the international outgoing and incoming tourism. Most of our drivers speak a second foreign language.
FLORENTIA BUS clients’ portfolio boasts today some of the major Tour Operator in the world. Among them are TRAICON Group (TRAFALGAR, INSIGHT, KONTICHI), to whom it provides Italian and European tours; the JAL Pack (property of Japanese airlines JAL), with whom it holds an exclusive agreement for Central Italy; the British Page & Moy with whom, once more, it holds an exclusive agreement for Central Italy; the “PERFETISE”, another very important Japanese Tour Operator which has appointed FLORENTIA BUS for the design and organization of Italian tours; the SCENIC TOUR, a high end Australian tour operator for whom it operates tours in both Italy and rest of Europe.

FLORENTIA BUS owns and manages a fleet of 50 buses with seat capacity ranging from 16 to 79 seats and an average age of four years; all of its buses come from top makers such as Mercedes, Volvo, Setra, IrisBus. All our buses are insured up to EUR 15 millions (top level for industry). They are all equipped with air conditioning system, reclinable seats, DVD and CD stereo systems. The majority of vehicles has an “en-suite” toilette and, upon clients’ requests, every bus seating plan can be rearranged to provide a business class area with wider spaces in between seats (i.e. a 12 Mt. bus can be customized to accommodate 40 seats or even 32 seats).
